WOW! I think, truly, I have never been so excited for one of our "R & D" (Research and Development) recipes to hit the menu so we can share the joy!
This one is truly special-we have been trying it out all over town, and the feedback is resoundingly the same every time: O.M.G.!! THIS. IS. AMAZING!!!!
The newest member of our menu entices from the get-go! We hand-slice fresh shallots and fresh garlic paper-thin, then babysit them for hours, crisping them to perfection so they don't burn. We add Sesame Seeds, Paprika, Aleppo Pepper, Chili Pepper, EVOO and salt...and then we pair it with our thickest, creamiest Labneh, complementing the spiceness and reducing the "heat" to just right. (I would say it has a little "kick"- I don't normally eat anything spicy, but I am obsessed with this!)
I have been eating it on Casabe chips, on the side of my breakfast eggs, and as a spread on sandwiches and toast. Let me know how you are using it, too!
